When I first started reading your diary, I found your entries to be boring and impersonal. Sometimes I'd be curious about an entry, only for my interest to fade after actually reading it. Most of the time, I didn't know what you were talking about. It didn't help that the first entry I came across, consisted of symbols instead of words. (You said later that you were trying to type in Japanese.) I thought you were writing to an audience, which I wasn't a part of. It wasn't until I looked even further back in the archives that I realized you wrote only for yourself.

Some of your past entries are more fun to read than your current ones. I learned about some of the background stuff, which helped me understand the current entries a little bit better. You are an interesting person, but your diary isn't very friendly towards new readers, like myself.

Blue background for site, pink background for diary entries. I like how the colors look, but don't understand why the words "the real folk blues" are part of the layout.

All your links work, and I have an easy time navigating through diary entries. Your drop-down menus help keep everything organized. My only problem is that it takes awhile for your diary to load on my screen.
